Snowmobiling in Revelstoke

Revelstoke offers unbelievable snowmobiling.  With a number of areas to choose from, you can keep finding new places to explore.  However, be aware there are restricted areas. Also check out the snow conditions.
Restricted Areas

There are new snowmobiling restriction information for Keystone, Frisby and Sale mountain starting in 2003.  The Revelstoke Snowmobile Club has worked hard to keep these mountain areas open for snowmobiling and the future of snowmobiling in these mountains depends on snowmobilers staying out of the closed areas.

Areas like Sale Mountain, Frisby Ridge and Keystone Standard Basin are important habitat for mountain caribou.  Snowmobile agreements have been reached limiting use of parts of these  areas.  For more information and maps on snowmobiling in Caribou Country - Revelstoke Area visit the Columbia Forest district site or the Snowmobile Revelstoke Society web site on wildlife issues.
